Eid al-Adha for Muslims is a holiday to commemorate the event when Prophet Ibrahim AS. willing to sacrifice his son Ishmael for Allah, but then the sacrifice was replaced by Him with a lamb. In addition, Eid al-Adha is also the peak of the Hajj which is carried out by Muslims. That is why, sometimes Eid al-Adha is also called Eid al-Kurban or Eid al-Hajj.
Every year, at the Eid al-Adha celebration many people perform Qurban to celebrate it. This year 2020, the celebration of Eid al-Adha 1441 Hijri falls on Friday, 31 July 2020.
