On 1 July 2020, PT. Galleon Cahaya Investama is entering its 11th year. In the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, a simple thanksgiving celebration was held at the Galleon Headquarters. Following health protocols, employees gather to celebrate by eating together and having events together. Covid-19 does not reduce the excitement and happiness of this birthday celebration.
“Galleon is like a big ship that is struggling in the middle of a storm.” The Director of Galleon began his speech. According to him, the Covid-19 pandemic is a big ripple that must be faced. Galleon was one of the ships that was sailing in that great ripple. Like a ship that is facing a big storm, it requires hard work from all crew members, starting from the captain, commander, to the crew members who are in control of the ship’s engines. Ship safety is the responsibility of all ship occupants. Like the ship, this is the time for Galleons to keep moving together and working hard so the ship doesn’t sink and can keep sailing.
An analogy that is very relevant and capable of being a motivation for employees.
The hope is that, even in the midst of a situation where the corona virus is spreading, PT. Galleon Cahaya Investama remains capable of being a company that provides practical solutions to consumer electricity problems.
One concrete step taken by Galleon in the midst of this pandemic is to continue to serve the needs of consumers with the “Electric Doctor” program, and continue to serve consumers both inside and outside the island, and of course while adhering to the applicable health protocols.
Happy Birthday to Galleon, growing, growing, and achieving its vision to always share.
