ISO 9001 is an international standard which establishes the requirements for a quality management system (QMS). The latest version of ISO 9001 is ISO 9001:2015 which replaces the previous version, namely ISO 9001:2008. ISO 9001:2015 is a standard that helps businesses and organizations to be more efficient and increase customer satisfaction. In ISO 9001:2015, there are 7 principles of quality management, namely Customer Focus, Leadership, Engagement of People, Process Approach, Improvement, Evidence-Based Decision Making (Evidance Based Decision Making), and Relationship Management (Relationship Management).
Galleon Cahaya Investama has obtained an ISO 9001: 2015 certificate on July 2, 2019. This indicates that Galleon has fulfilled the requirements in the ISO 9001: 2015 quality management system that has been established. This certificate is valid for a period of 3 years.
And currently, in accordance with applicable regulations, Galleon is in the process of the first Surveillance Audit by a Certification Body. Surveillance Audit is an audit (monitoring) that must be carried out by an independent certification body on an ISO-certified agency. The purpose of the audit is to ensure readiness for quality management in the first year, including to determine whether the organization is still entitled to hold an ISO certificate or not. This audit can prove the commitment and participation of all employees in implementing ISO standards.
Prior to the Surveillance Audit, Galleon has sent data containing documented information on the results of the internal audit, which proves that the company has implemented ISO 9001:2015 to the external audit party.
Unlike before, this time the audit was conducted online, due to conditions that made it impossible to conduct an in-person audit. So, on July 16 2020, an audit via Zoom Meeting was held by the Certification Body for related sections at PT. Galleon Cahaya Investama to check the suitability of the findings with the actual situation.
Hopefully the results of the surveillance audit are good and as expected.
