As an Electrical Contractor company that is engaged in high-risk jobs, PT. Galleon Cahaya Investama prioritizes safety and comfort at work. In order to achieve Zero Accident and in order to form a culture of OHS (Occupational Safety and Health), improve service to customers, and maintain the quality of service, PT. Galleon Cahaya Investama needs to implement an Occupational Safety and Health Management System (SMK3). To optimize the implementation of the SMK3, the SMK3 Internal Audit Team was formed.
The SMK3 Internal Audit Team consists of representatives from each division in the Galleon. The SMK3 Audit Team is tasked with conducting internal audits based on the criteria applied in either the Quality Management System (QMS) or SMK3, preparing recommendations internal audit findings in preparation for external audits, and preparing reports on audit results to the Director.
Implementation of external audit conducted by PT. PLN (Persero) Certification Center on November 25-27 2019. The matters being audited are the work environment, procurement of work tools, procurement of work safety equipment, and procurement of health equipment. Based on the audit results, PT. Galleon Cahaya Investama was declared to have passed with a satisfactory grade level.
With this SMK3 certification, PT. Galleon Cahaya Investama is responsible for continuing to maintain and improve the Occupational Safety and Health Management System (SMK3) in order to create a safe and comfortable work environment and culture in accordance with applicable standards.
