As in previous years, in 2020, on January 2, 2020, Galleon is again holding a charity with children from the Sholeh Sejahtera Charity Foundation. However, this year’s charity is slightly different compared to previous years. As we know, the beginning of 2020 was marked by a disaster in the capital city of Jakarta. Heavy rains for several days caused flooding at several points in the capital. Power outages are inevitable. The situation is really very chaotic and disturbing.
However, with full trust in God Almighty, Galleon continues to carry out this activity. The committee has prepared well for this activity, so with full confidence, the event will still be held.
This activity was carried out at the Galleon Factory in Batu Ceper, Tangerang. It’s a shame, it turned out that some of the children couldn’t attend because the access road was blocked by flooding. After trying to brave the rain and floods, the employees and children of the orphanage were finally able to gather at the Galleon Factory to have activities together. The event lasted for 2 to 3 hours with a very lively atmosphere from the children of the Sholeh Sejahtera Amal Foundation with games and prizes prepared by the committee.
Growing, successful and professional in their field is Galleon’s hope and prayer for 2020. Galleon also asks for blessings so that Galleon can continue to share with others.
